Sping and Early Summer
I left my (post every week or two) blog for about 2 months it seems so lets do a little catch up session shall we.
Lets start off by I passed my driving test last week (wooohoooo!!!!) but I can’t rent a car, can’t buy a car and therefore can’t drive a car for pretty much another two years… The irony has hit me.
Cuba seems to be put on hold till I can find those finances hopefully i’ll find them by august but I really dunno… In the mean time I’m going to Ireland in two weeks on a ‘road trip’ with mia, andre, darren and teshy which i’m quite looking forward to :)
My most recent project got me my first first! which was awesome. It went really well with people from anti VJ coming to our installation and it getting a really good reception from my classmates. I’m so glad I got to work with everyone as I think it is probably one of the best groups I’ve worked with. It’s also got my very excited for my final year knowing I have a good (not great!) piece of work behind me.
I’ve got one script idea going for me for next year at the moment which I think could be really interesting and maybe I’ll even try directing it if it gets picked. If not I’m really interested in doing a mapping project.
I went to see Band Of Horses at the Roundhouse the day after hand-in which was awesome! I can’t say i really like their new stuff but loving all their classics!!! Ode to LRC!!!
after that I went back to Bristol for a week of partying which is always fun :D beat some dudes who were better then me at football which is what it’s all about!!!
and for what’s coming up…. I’ve started doing some camera assistant work today for this feature film which will last two weeks. then Ireland and then hopefully finding about 25 days of work between the end of july and august (long!)
in between that I wanna get better at Flash Actionscript, start on my Visual Culture, Maybe start learning logic and get on with my mapping… So we’ll see how it goes!
I haven’t filmed anything in a while which is bad! need to get back on that.
